Creating Community Change-Makers (16 to 25 years and adults)

The programme is designed for young people and adults alike who are engaged with making positive changes for themselves and who may be well placed to help others through similar journeys. Given appropriate support and development by the M2C team, they can grow to be highly effective agents of change in their peer groups and their local communities.

These programmes develop a range of employability skills in young adults and empower them to help others deal with motivation or mental health challenges. The adult programme has a more personalised focus and builds on the skills base achieved through life experiences. It aims to develop the confidence for these adults to develop and lead change in their communities.

Where will these programmes take place?

These programmes can be based from places of education and development, workplaces or community and youth focused institutions or groups. Outdoor spaces give the M2C team the resource to structure a programme that develops confidence and leadership that will help to make positive changes in the participants and their communities. Community Change Makers are people that are going places, they may need an initial boost in confidence but they will have or develop a growth mindset and will progress to become involved in helping others to grow similarly.
