Pen-y-ghent Guided Walk – February 19th 2026
Overview
If you’ve been on one of our Mountain Training Hill Skills courses then these days are ideal to consolidate and extend your experience.
If you are an occasional hillwalker, then we’d recommend coming on one of our Mountain Training accredited Hill Skills courses (or you could just come out for a good walk with like-minded people and learn as well!).
What will you get from this day?
An experienced mountain leader who will provide as much (or as little!) extra knowledge around navigation, hill skills, environmental issues, equipment, techniques, local lore etc etc!
We always try to find routes and options that take you off of the busier paths, that’s not always possible but we’re local so we can use our insights to amend our route to give you the best day possible.
We have head-overs/snoods to give to the first 50 people who attend our hill walking days this spring, get a stylish Move2Change neck-warmer to accessorise your kit.

Please be aware that there are parking charges for car parks or there may be roadside parking in the village. Please park with consideration to locals and other users.
Move2Change reserves the right to amend or postpone the date and venue for these days if prevailing weather or travel conditions necessitate that. We will communicate any changes in as timely a manner as possible.
Please only book onto one of these days if you fully intend coming. All too often we have non-attendees who deny people on a waiting list the opportunity to benefit. Thank you for your understanding.
